iPad update

I just did an update for my iPad Air2 and I hate it.  How do I go back to the one I had?

If you mean that you updated to iOS 11 well ... no chance to go back in a supported way.

Can I go back without support?

Sorry,

Apple does NOT and has never had support NOR has ANY procedures or provisions for reverting/downgrading to a prior or earlier iOS version.

It's good to always do research and due diligence and find out any/ALL pertinent info about a brand new, major iOS upgrade before just blindly installing and upgrading your iDevices.

iOS 11 has been widely publicised for, at least, the last 6 months!

FYI,

iOS 11 is a brand new ALL 64-bit iOS that renders any older 32-bit apps still on your iPad obsolete/useless and non-functional.

If you didn't do a prior backup or find a way to backup/copy important data from these older apps, had ANY important data in ANY of these older apps that may have not been updated for quite some time, then you may have permanently lost this data UNLESS the older app developer decides to issue an update for iOS 11.

The only other possible way to retrieve this unretrievable data is to have another iDevice that still has an older iOS version still on it and has those particular apps on the other iDevice.

Good Luck to You!
