top menu bar of itunes is missing how do i get ...

The menu bar at the top of itunes that had (itunes file edit controls) was gone when i updated the software how do I get it back?

The little tiny box up in the upper left corner. Open it, and click on Show Menu Bar.

I am struggling badly with my Macbook Pro. iTunes menubar is absent and there is no small box left or right. Only close, minimize and full screen three buttons. Kindly help

In Windows the menu bar is enabled with Ctrl+B. On a Mac the menu bar should run across the top of the screen and changes depending on which app has focus. Have you installed some tweak that hides the menu bar completely?

Doesn't have what? You are responding to a thread that is 4-years old. The Menu bar in the latest version of iTunes in Windows is on by default.

your answer is worthless. There is no small menu box in itunes 12 and there are no general preferences and control b in windows does nothing. Sorry people have been having the same unanswered problem for 4 years.
