Bug in iOS 10 Calendar: jumps to other month

Currently I am experiencing what seems to be a bug in iOS 10 Calendar: sometimes when selecting a certain day in month view + event list below, the actual selected day jumps to another month which is currently not displayed on the screen. So the red circle is suddenly gone from the currently active month and jumps out of view to another month (mostly 1 month in the future).

Anyone else experiencing this issue? I am using iCloud for Calendar sync.

I haven't experienced this thus far.  Try this -- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

I had a similar problem, for just one particular week, and it would jump to the previous month. Turned the phone off and turned it back on, and it's back to normal. Hopefully it's not a recurring thing.

Yes this happens to me frequently.  It does stop for awhile once you restart your phone but then eventually starts doing it again

I am having a terrible time with Calendar!  I have spoken directly to apple (escalated to about 1 call away from Tim Cook at this point) and they can't figure it out.  They had me send them files when the problem occurred (they had a way for me to capture this info as I was using calendar) and their engineers "Could not replicate the problem"

The hope is it will get fixed in the next iOS release.  Oh, all of this is after I have gotten new hardware, (didn't help), set up my phone as a 'new phone' not restore from iCloud back up. I share my calendars with my wife and I think that may have something to do with it, but they have said no because we were not connected to the cloud at some points when I was testing it for them and it still did it.
