edit button missing in iTunes

I updated the latest version of iTunes,12.7. The "edit" button is now missing from all of my playlists. This means that I can't add songs to playlists anymore. Yes, I know there are other (but inefficient) ways to add songs to playlists, but I want to get the "edit" button back to I can do it quickly and efficiently. Thank you very much.
