What do people think of the new iTunes?

In the past I have used iTunes to download apps and then synch several i-devices via USB.  Now I apparently have to download updated apps onto each device separately.  And downloading via WiFi is not nearly as fast as doing it over my cable.

 

I've always used iTunes for backup to my Mac (which is then backed up to a hard drive regularly).  iTunes said that the cloud backup backs up "important" files while the backup to my Mac backed up the whole thing.

 

Am I missing something?

And how do I synch my contact list and calendar between my Mac and my various i-devices?

This is going backwards. You have lost the integration between macs and iPhones. This was a bad move. I should just buy an android from now on.

My problem with the new iTunes ver. is that, for TV, I can no longer see the icons indicating unwatched shows. It takes forever to search li6stings multiple dozens of shows for new and otherwise unwatched episodes. Can I recover this "lost"feature?
