How to Clear buffer iOS 11

hi, how do,I clear the cache buffer in iOS 11 and the Apple store? I did it in the past iOS, but The same commands like tapping several,times within Apple store and holding the on/off button then pres the hi,e button don’t work anymore. IPad Air 2, iOS 11.0.1 Any advice? Thanks for the replies
