transfer purchases to iTunes
I have searched around but have not found what I was looking for; most discussion seemed to be 3 to 5 years old.
I have my iPhone plugged into my iMac and saw that the new iOS upgrade is out. When I went to install it, I got the
"There are purchased items on the iPhone “Old Blue” that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone."
message.
I used the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from Old Blue option and I did see a progress bar for two items that are listed on purchase window of the iPhone, which makes it appear to me that the transfer did indeed take place. However, when I tried to proceed with the iOS install, I got that message again. Evidently I am missing something. Do I need to eject and plug the iPhone back in, restart iTunes or is there something else?
Thank you
