How to cancel a subscription on iTunes

I am having great difficulty trying to cancel a subscription that is not delivering what it is supposed to (New Yorker Mag). No one at Apple seems to know how. They refer me to the mag and the mag refers me back to apple

I am having the same problem trying to cancel my Showtime Streaming subscription.  All inquiries I've made and instructions I've received lead to a dead end. I navigate as advised, but the page I see does not show what I'm told it wIll and/or the image I navigate to is not the same when I follow the same steps on my iPad.  Thanks for any help. 



You are being charged through your iTunes account, and you only have the one account ? If it's not showing on your account you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can find and cancel it : https://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/



For some reasons I applied formal auto-renewal of Hotspot VPN via Apple Store. How can I cancel this auto-renewal? I've checked my account and subscription but no option to turn-off the auto-renewal. Could anybody help me how to solve this problem?



You are sure that the renewal is through your iTunes account, and you only have the one iTunes account ? You could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can find and stop it renewing for you : https://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/



Sorry King, yes it was charged through my Apple Store. I've checked to my account, manage subscription but no option to turn-off auto-renewal



Do you mean that the app appears but there is no option to stop it auto-renewing, or that the app (or the subscription) section doesn't show ? Have you now tried contacting iTunes Support ?



Yes there is no option to stop the auto-renewal. I've already asked iTunes Support but not response yet.

'YES' what ? You already know that you are only talking to fellow users on here, we can't cancel subscriptions for you

If you mean cancel an auto-renewing subscription (there is no subscription for itunes) then log into your account - there are instructions in the link in my first reply



I am never going to subscribe to anything on iTunes that costs any money, because it is impossible to cancel!  I am sick of being swindled.
