How to use My Passport with macOS Sierra

I use My Passport to backup my laptop; it world fine with ElCapitan, but doesn't seem to with Sierra. Help!

Does the drive show in Finder and/or Disk Utility? Does it show in System Preferences/Time Machine?

Disk Utility – Force Mount Disk

It shows up in System Informstion ->Hrdware -> USB -> USB 3.0 Bus ->My Passport ....      as a Journaled HFS+    /dev/disk2s2
