Do I risk losing my data if I sign out of iClou...

I have two iMacs, two iPads and two iPhones.

And I also have a problem:

In an old thread somewhere in these Communities I read that by signing out of iCloud on ALL devices at once (or on each one after the other, for that matter) and then signing in onto iCloud on each device again might give me an opportunity to turn the Keychain in iCloud off at last.

As far as I remember that posting, it said: sign off of iCloud on mobile devices first, then on desktop computers which would then make it at last possible to switch off the iCloud Keychain on desktop computers as well.

Now, my questions are:

1) Is the above described suggestion still valid for El Capitan and iOS 10.3.3?

And most importantly -

2) Do I risk losing any of my data if / when I sign out of iCloud on ALL my devices simultaneously, and if so - how can I minimize that risk?

3) Are there any precautionary measures I should take in order not to lose any data at all?

4) Worst case scenario - what data, if any, can get lost if I proceed as described above?

Many thanks for all and any help!
