iPad Pro 10.5 not charging since updating to iO...

After updating to iOS 11 I noted that my battery did not charge after leaving it a full night connected to the original charger.

Went on to find out that this was something which happened to earlier iOS updates and a solution could be to reboot (which didn’t work) or unplug the cable from the power outlet than first plug in the iPad before plugging back in the power. That last one worked up until the iPad was charged at around 40% and now it has stopped charging again. While I am typing this i am plugged in and the charge icon is right there next to the battery but I have already gone down to 35%.

No problem whatsoever with my iPhone 7.

What’s going on Apple! Please help
