How to unlock with touchid even after restart?

I've been using the MacBook pro for a while now and I was wondering if it was possible to use the TouchID at all times? I just really want the convenience. I also use bootcamp so I have to restart and shut down a lot so it is just like TouchID doesn't exist at all. I don't really care about the reduced security or anything.
