Has anyone else had problems double

Before the update, if you needed to open something, you could just double-click the icon like on any system. Now, however, to open ANYTHING, it has to be secondary click + "open" in the mini menu that pops up. This is beyond irritating, and if there's a setting I've overlooked that can change it, I really appreciate it if someone points it out.
