MacBook Pro siri audio problem

A week ago my Siri on my MacBook Pro was working fine, now for some reason it says Siri audio problem whenever i try to use it. Normally as soon as I press the Siri icon, it would pop up in the corner and have that wavy line as it hears my voice. Now it just shows the microphone icon. After a few seconds it say something along the lines of "just a second..." followed my a heading of "SIRI Audio Problem, Siri was unable to hear you. Please check that your microphone is connected and selected in SIRI Mic input"

I've done everything it asked to no success.

Any help would be good?

had the same problem all of a sudden. i did a quick restart and siri was working finde again.. the obvious and easy way is sometime the best way

Just restart Your Mac and leave it for a couple of minutes then try Siri again, every thing goes on smoothly.

Same problem on my MacBook Pro, screenshot attached. I can't make reboot every time the problem takes places, normally it happens in 1 day after reboot. Hope Apple will fix this in new SW version.Screen Shot 2017-06-20 at 18.33.41.png

Logging out (shift-cmd-Q) and logging back in also seems to help.

H.

I had the exact same problem.  I shut down my computer, restarted, and it worked just fine.

Hope it works for you!
