MacOs Sierra 10.12

I am trying to install MacOs Sierra 10.12.6, but prompted to first install 10.12?  I am unable to get a download link for 10.12

Please could anyone assist?

You can get Sierra from the App Store. What you have there is only the updater to the latest version.

I've tried that.  All the versions are available, apart from 10.12

When you download Sierra from the App Store, it will be for the 10.12.6 full installer. Stop messing around with the downloads section on the Apple support web site.

MacOS 10.12 Sierra is no longer available for download in the App Store.  So how do I get an installer for Mac OS10.12 Sierra?  I do not want High Sierra!  I current have Yosemite after a Time Machine failed to reset the machine from High Sierra to Sierra at a time before High Sierra was installed.
