Wifi Problems

Macbook Air 2015, Sierra 10.12.6. I am having wifi issues where periodically (anywhere from 5mins to 45mins) my wifi internet tanks. I notice that if I click my wifi icon it will say Wi-Fi: Looking for networks...

If I toggle my wifi on/off it will return for another duration before repeating what I typed above.

Any ideas?
