New issue with saved images

I am using a MacBook Pro 15".  I have saved images onto the background.  When I try to open them now, I receive an error message saying "The file 'Scan 6.jpeg' couldn't be opened because you don't have permission to view it.  Help/suggestions, please!!

I understand that you are unable to open files on your desktop as you are receiving a permission error.  Here are the steps that we would recommend going through when experiencing this issue with specific files or folders.
