Stopping a stubborn process
I have a MacBook Air running OSX 10.12.6 on a 1.7GHz Intel Core i7.
Two processes are each taking up 80% of my CPU while idling, causing a hot laptop and short battery life:
LogiWiFiDaemon
mDNSResponder
Rebooting the computer does not help.
Turning off the WiFi does not help.
Shutting down all applications does not help.
Force Quitting the LogiWiFiDaemon has no effect. (It restarts within seconds.)
launchctl list | grep LogiWiFiDaemon returns nothing.
What else can I try?
