family share setup keeps asking for my password

When i click on Manage Family, a dialog box says "Enter your password to make changes to your account."  I enter my Apple ID password and the dialog box goes away with a spinning icon then comes back a few seconds later asking for my password again.  The password is correct.  Entering and incorrect password gives me an "Incorrect password." warning.  Entering the correct password gives me the dialog box again.  I have repeated this over and over after logging off, rebooting, changing my apple ID password.  No problems with any icloud functions.  Anyone have any ideas?

Yosemite 10.10.1

Thanks!

I have this issue as well. I have tried logging out & logging in again....but the issue persists.

Same issue.  All other iCloud functions working normally.  I was able to sign into iCloud, which shows that my password is correct.  But family sharing part of the code doesn't think so.

I have exactly the same problem.

First trial to add a family member seemed to work until i unchecked the "locate me" options for my wife's account i was trying to add.

Then my iMac prompted asking me for the appleID/iCloudID password (which are the same). Since, it asks it again and again.

It must be a bug in Yosemite code and i hope it would be fixed soon.

Unless anyone has a proposal to solve it ?

Thanks in advance,

Sebastien

Same problem here.

I had this problem(using Yosemite 10.10.5) and it drove me crazy.  Then I accessed family sharing - manage settings from my iPhone and it worked fine.
