I recently noticed an odd phenomenon with docx files stored in iCloud. When I attempted to open these files via my iPhone iCloud App, I was re-directed to my Google Drive app, at which point a pop-up would appear and ask if I wanted to save the file to my google drive account. Apple support recommended that I update my iphone from 10.3.3 to 11. After the upgrade, the issue still persists. The only difference is now instead of an "iCloud" app, it's called "Files." Has anyone faced this issue recently? Any resolution? I called Apple Support who could not figure it out and recommended I try reaching out to the Google Drive Support team.
