command

Hi! Im using a Macbook Pro 2016 w/o touchbar, recently realised my command-click to select multiple NOT contagious text does not work on words or any website. My other commands are working fine, e.g. cmd-c, cmd-a etc. I have tried command-click on photos, and it works.

 

Is this a software glitch? Ive recently updated my words (just a few days back). Its really ******* me off, cause im quite dependent on that! Please advice, thank you!
