What is RetroEngine?

For some unknown reason, I have a popup window on startup which appears to be from RetroEngine and requests 'Deny' or 'Allow' !

I have uninstalled Retrospect, unused for some time.

Could someone tell me what this is (I see from Activity Montor files dated in 2011) and how to prevent this ?

Sorry for the late response ;(  I usually go first to Support in whatever software vendor is involved but this time I must have lost the plot!
