Merge duplicate contacts

How do you merge duplicate contacts on iCloud and all of your devices?

This link just says to go to Apple Support for help... Well, I'm here. What now?

Please read the question again. The answer does not resolve duplicates in iCloud.

You need to contact iCloud support as the article states.

Actually no - it does not say to contact Apple Support - it says to click on Apple Support and presents a hyperlink. These are not the same thing.
