Bulged battery replacement

I am using a MacBook air 13" purchased in 2011 time. Recently I had taken the system for a repair (for power adapter issue) to apple care center, where I was informed that they will not touch the system as it is considered as a legacy system. Later, one of the apple repair center I approached, informed me that my laptop battery is getting bulged.

Now, the issue is how to get a OEM battery module for the laptop. As I am out of warranty and the apple authorised center will not take the system for repair, getting the authentic item from them is also not feasible.

Please let me know where I can get an authentic (OEM) battery module for the laptop. Please let me know if you have any inputs here.

Thanks & Regards,

Sudeep

You can't get them any more, but you can buy a 3rd party replacement from OWC.

Until you do you should remove the expanding one, it may cause damage if you don't.

Mmmm. ... true your Mac is considered as obsolete Vintage and obsolete products - Apple Support

Here how to fix it by your self: MacBook Air 13" Mid 2011 Battery Replacement - iFixit. On the same website with a bit of luck you should find the battery you need.
