How can I open Adobe Illustrator CS6 in Sierra

I update yesterday my iMac OS Sierra version 10.12.5, processor 3.1 GHz Intel Core i3.
I have problem to launch Adobe Illustrator CS6.
When I'm trying to launch, I got an error:"To open Adobe Illustrator CS6 you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime". I installed successfully it, but I'm still not able to launch Illustrator, the same massage is show up.
An instruction said that, I have to uninstall the old Java, but I don't have any old java version.
How can I solve the problem to open the Adobe Illustrator

Thank you for helping me. I solved my problem today. I downloaded the newest version of Java that was recommended me by the "Error message." I downloaded the Lion one, and the Illustrator is working.
Sincerely, Katalin

What did Adobe say when you asked them?

Are you kidding? You downloaded and installed High Sierra PLUS the Java For OSX-2015 updater and your Adobe applications now work? Are they buggy or do they run smoothly?

Hope you can answer before I try...
