Playing and finding music I listened to 8 hours...

Hi, I finally downgraded to iOS 10, I'm having trouble finding basic functionality and fear has been removed in Music App.

1) Is it possible to continue listening to a song I paused 8 hours prior? I have 60GB of empty HD space. This used to be a bug that only happened when the HD was running low on space.

2) Is it possible to view the songs I listened to already? I used to be able to to just scroll up in the up next list to see music listening history.

It seems that they won't let you start where you left off AND won't let you figure out what you were listening to by viewing played history... Obviously this is anti-UX, just want to know if I'm really experiencing this and it's working as designed.
