Cannot connect to iTunes Store on my windows 7 ...

I got this problem few weeks ago, then i updated the itunes on my PC but it did not resolve the problem so i downloaded entire itunes software and reinstalled it in my PC but still i cannot connect to itunes store . I checked my connections, i also cleared the host file as mentioned in one of the apple support pages, i also checked my firewall for blocking itunes but thats not the problem either , please someone guide me to connect to itunes store.itunes store is visible in my PC but signing in or trying to authorize the computer displays the message that iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable.i cannot sync my iPad because the current data would be lost without my iTunes account signed in.

Eric, a senior tech advisor at Apple Support, fixed this same problem for me and it may work for you.  Open your computer C:\ drive and click on "Program Files".  Find the iTunes folder and open it.  Go to the iTunes application icon and place your cursor over it and right click. Click on "Properties"  A box should open with several tabs.  Click on "Compatibility".  Remove all the check marks.  Open up the "Change settings for all users" and remove all check marks.  Click OK and OK and restart iTunes.
