Apple watch temp not updating

I've noticed that the temperature display on the default watch face ("Utility") does not always update; it's often showing no temp.  If I customize the window to show something else, then go back and reset it to display Temp it shows the correct temperature - for a while.  Is this an OS problem or am I missing something else?  Thanks

no, it sometimes doesn't update it or updates it at too long an interval. although your iPhone losing it's internet connectivity can also cause it to not display the temperature anymore.

Even though I still have a 4G commection on my phone?

I had this happen when I was connected to a WiFi access point that was blocking the weather URL, but on 4G I don't have the problem unless I lose connection with my phone as well

I had the exact same problem.  All I did was do a hard reset (hold the digital crown and the side button down at the same time for 10 seconds), and that seem to have fixed it.

I noticed that the airplane icon appeared on the watch face about the same time.  When I reset that to off in the Apple Watch system preferences the temperature came on too.
