Intermittently connection of iPad Pro and keyboard

I Have an intermittently connecting keyboard with iPad pro.  I have the latest update. I have cleaned the connectors, I have separated the iPad, rebooted and reconnected, I have put on a newer key board, I spent time on the phone with apple support (no help), spent 2.5 hours in Apple Store.  They checked my iPad Pro and said it was ok. My warranty was out by 46 days they told me to buy a new key board, it still does not connect.  It just seems to connect at random.  It has to be in the soft ware.

I have the same issue I have to close the app down and re open. So much chat over this not sure why Apple dont recognise a bug
