Imac black screen when switching out of Target ...
Host Computer: Mid 2014 MacBook Pro
Target Display: Late 2013 iMac
When switching out of target display mode, my iMac screen goes black. The only way to get the iMac back to its desktop is by hard restarting the iMac. I have tried reseting the NVRAM and SMC but with no change in behavior. I don't have a password enabled either.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
*Update
I downgraded to Mavericks (10.11.6) and the problem no longer exists. Seems like the problem had to do with High Sierra
