iMac won't sleep
Hello,
I have an iMac Retina 5K, 27", late 2014, running Sierra 10.12.6. I upgraded from Yosemite to Sierra earlier in the year.
Since Sierra, this iMac will not go to sleep unless I manually choose it from the Apple Menu or move my cursor to the hot corner I have configured. It won't even go to Screen Saver on its own.
Settings: Activate Screen Saver in 10 minutes.
Energy Saver: Turn display off after 15 minutes.
These options are enabled:
- Put hard disks to sleep when possible.
- Wake for network access
- Enable Power Nap
These options are NOT enabled:
- Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off
- Start up automatically after a power failure.
This iMac would activate screen saver and sleep settings per my system preference pane settings just fine when I was running Yosemite. Per Apple OS Help, I would think I have it set OK, but suggestions as to what I might be doing incorrectly would be most welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
