MacBook Backup to Time Capsule

I use Sierra iOS 10.12.6 with MacBook Pro.  I continue to be unable to backup my MacBook to Time Capsule T2. I have plenty of space but a few months ago, automatic backups starting to fail and for some reason it stops in the middle of the update with error note, but I do not know how to fix. What is the error or why? Please advise:
