Macintosh HD show up as external
Hey
I have a 1TB SSD drive I purchased at the owc
The detailed model is shown in the picture:
I had some problems lately with the performance of the computer and it made me decide that I wanted to reformat and do a clean installation of the operating system and then do a restore from the time machine
When I got to the stage of deleting the drive I kept getting this error:
"failed to unmount drive"
And this actually brings me to a situation where I can not format the drive.
I also tried through the terminal all sorts of orders to make it work but without success.
What to do ?
Are you booted into the Recovery Partition?
