Apple HomeKit and MacOS High Sierra

If any device should include HomeKit it should be MacOS. This is a major missing component in automation. I am currently working to automate as much of my home as possible in preparation for my later years. It's sad but iOS appears to have priority over MacOS. This is the opposite of how it should be in my opinion. The Macs should be able to do everything iOS can do and more.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
