Why don't lyrics display for matched tracks?

An Apple Music subscription with iCloud Music Library will attempt to match your existing tracks with Apple's tracks, and if it can't find a match it will upload your tracks to the cloud. However, iTunes and iOS Music apps will only display lyrics for Apple Music tracks.

It would seem logical that the lyrics from matched tracks should also display. Alternatively, the interfaces could allow the user to replace their tracks with tracks from Apple Music when there's a match.
