Why do I have no sound when I play video segmen...

I have the side volume switch on iPad turned on & i only get volume when I use a set of headphones.....  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?? T

Channel 9 will not play audio through the speakers if silent mode is on, but it will play audio through the headphones, I would consider this a bug. This is confusing because Music and apps like YouTube will play audio through the speakers even when silent mode is on. So the conclusion I reached was that the Channel 9 app was not working.

Channel 9 audio starting working once I turned off silent mode.

Check if silent mode is turned on and try turning it off.

You may also be able to use headphones even when silent mode is on.
