Can I replace my mac book pro's battery if I am in another coutry with a different voltage?

I bought my Mac 4 years ago in a 230 volt country, I now need to replce my battery but I am in a 100 volt country. Can I do it or do I have to wait till I am back in the original country I bough it in?

The batteries are the same in all countries. Only the charger plug is different.
