Macbook Pro antivirus

Hi everyone, i have a Macbook pro 13 inch retina and i bought the advanced mac cleaner thinking apple is recommending it but it seems it was a virus. I had uninstalled it now but I am looking for a good antivirus that is free for now, because i am annoyed i have already payed. Can someone recommend me a good one please, I've never had a mac and Im already a mess.

You don't need one at all.

Terence is absolutely right but just in case you didn't completely clear it (and that can be a problem) download and apply this program which will enable us to check out your machine.  It is safe to do so andwill reveal nothing private.  Just follow instructions and post in reply to our posts.
