How do I delete an unwanted page on apple pages on an iPad 3rd generation

Hello,   It will depend on which version of Pages you are using.  In the latest version, If you want to delete an entire document:  open Pages,  in the top right hand corner tap Select.  Choose the document you want to delete, and then tap Delete at the bottom of the screen.

If you only want to delete a portion of a document: double tap, and then highlight the portion you want to delete, and select Delete.
