BrandNew MacBook Pro 13

Hi All,

 

I have read not a few topics here where people complain about keyboards on new MacBook Pros like "different feel", inconsistency, double letters ect and many folks make comments that dust is the reason.

I decided to write because while I appreciate the sanity of comments, I got the same keyboard issue on a brand new 4 days old MacBook pro

 

it made me mad. my Gmail password has letter k, I never store passwords, and on this laptop I got a very consistent message - wrong password. I thought my account got compromised and checked via iPhone - no, all is good.

 

I tried to sign in again via MacBook Pro - wrong password. OK. I did one more attempt and made a long stop after every single keys - Yep! K is not working, or makes 2 KK.

 

I just want to let you guys know, no, it is not dust on these machines. it is Apple's failed quality test of new keyboards.

 

I go to Apple Store tomorrow to return this piece of crap.

 

Last but not least - check in out - new MacBooks have "Second generation butterfly keyboard", which means Apple is aware of the problem, they fixed that on MacBooks.
