Swiping on widgets screen?

When I swipe to the right on my iPad and bring up the search and widget screen, then try to scroll (up or down) any place I touch to scroll immediately launches whatever I widget or story I touch.  Is this a problem anyone else has experienced?

I have not experienced this problem, but your problem is probably just a simple glitch. Try holding down the Volume Decrease button and the power button(not the home button) until the Apple logo appears, or hold down the Home Button and the Power button until the phone shuts off and the Apple ID appears. I do warn you though, sometimes the Home Button and the power button restart does not want to work. Hope this helps and good luck.
