I have a 10-year-old, or so, iPad which runs slowly.

Is there a product or process where I can be sure there is no malware on it?

That is easy. There is no malware that infects any iOS device. iPad, iPhone, iPod T

The oldest iPads were introduced about Jan 2010 and cannot run OS 10.3. Please give us a better description of your iPad model:

and post more about what is "slow" for you. We may be able to help but right now we have only contradictory information.
