For some reason my Google keeps thinking I live...

I have a MacBook Air 2017 and I've checked it and there is no virus. A couple weeks ago, my Google changed from .com to .sa and put everything in Arabic. It went away by itself after a few minutes. I had been downloading a file. Today, I was browsing a news website and it did the same thing. I have never been to or lived in Saudi Arabia, my homepage is set to .com, and other sites like Yahoo and everything else are not in Arabic at all. At first I thought it was a browser hijack but there is no other evidence. Scans are clean, no suspicious programs or addons on my computer or anything. I read somewhere it might be a bug that has to do with Google. I don't even have a Google account anymore. I logged into my sapo.pt email which is Portuguese but has nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. I am using a VPN but it is set to Atlanta, Georgia in the USA and I live in the Massachusetts/Rhode Island area.

Why is my Google.com changing to SA? My mother knows nothing tech but she said it sounds suspicious.
