Mac book pro late 2016 does not unlock with App...

Hello to all
I just purchased an Apple Watch Series 3, I'm trying to unlock a MacBook Pro last 2016, but when I go into system / security preferences and let me "allow Apple Watch to unlock the Mac" I do not find the Apple Watch .
I have both the Iphone and Mac with Wifi and Bluetooth turned on, and 2 factor authentication for the iCloud account,
but the problem persists

Check that you are following all of the instructions here:

 

 

They include checking that you have upgraded to macOS High Sierra on your MacBook Pro. This is required when using Apple Watch Series 3 models with the Auto Unlock feature.

 

Note that upgrading to macOS High Sierra is not done via the Updates tab in the Mac App Store. Instead, see the following article for upgrade instructions:
