Has anyone had issues with connecting there 7" ...

So after the recent update of high sierra, there has been a problem with connecting my MacBook pro 2016 touch bar with this monitor, the monitor has seemed to go black as well as the labtop screen.

I have already tried to disconnect and connect it again but hasn't resolved the issue.

Thanks in advance for taking time in your own hands and helping a fellow mac Os user.
