I cannot perform a reinstall of Sierra on my ol...
Hi there,
I want to give my old MacBook Air to my sister, so I wiped my harddisc with CMD+R and wanted to re-install macOS. Unfortunately, I've now been told, that macOS Sierra (10.12) is "currently not availble in the store". So now I have a clean SSD but no macOS on it. Is there way around this?
I know, this hardware is out of support, but my sister just wanted to use it for simple tasks, so no issue with this.
Help!
Cheers,
Dirk
Hi,
If you had Sierra installed on it before this, command r should reinstall it. Did you have Sierra? Have you tried again?
