Is my iCloud account password the same for my K...

I am trying to get my kindle fire to log into my iCloud account and it will not accept my iCloud password.

Is my Apple iCloud password the same as the password for my Mac?

Your password would normally be the same as you used to log in to this forum (assuming that you only have one Apple ID). It would also be the same as you use on your Mac to log in to iCloud or anything using your Apple ID -- but not necessarily the same as you use to log on to your user account on your Mac when you start it up.

If you are setting up the mail app on your Kindle or trying to access iCloud from any other 3rd party app other than an internet browser, be aware that you need to have two-factor authentication (or two-step verification) turned on for your Apple ID and you need to use an app-specific password in the 3rd party app rather than your usual password.
