Software update?

Is there an update for 10.12.6 macOSSierra available?  Read something about a 10.13 which needed a further update to correct a security issue?

There is no update to 10.12.6 at this time. Security updates will continue to be downloaded/installed depending on your setting in the app store > System Preferences.  10.13 is a new OS version (High Sierra) which was just introduced. If your model supports it, you can certainly download and install it from the app store. Make sure you have a complete backup first.
