I Purchased an app for $2.99 from my iPad. Now I have a new iPod touch and downloaded the app I purchased from iPad. But from my iPod touch, it's asking me if I want to purchase it again for $2.99. Why do I have to buy it again?
Is the iPod signed into the same ID used to purchase the app on iPad?
Is it an iPad-only app? Some developers has separate apps for iPad and iPhone/iPod touch.

YES it is signed in with the same ID....when I downloaded it the first time, I wasn't aware if it's an iPad-only app or not. But it is the same exact app. I downloaded it on the iPod touch but it's not the premium version. it's just the regular free one. But if I want the premium version of the app, I have to pay $2.99 again which I already did from the iPad. It makes me mad to have to pay twice for the same app. And yes I followed everything that says on the link.

Hi, here's a screenshot. It's a photo app. It's a free app in low resolution. but if you want unlimited high resolution, you have to upgrade for $2.99.
You may also want to check with the App developer. It may be that the require a payment for each device that you wish to upgrade to the paid version. That would be something they determine themselves. This is not an Apple app, and iTunes support may not be able to answer your question. Check with the app developer.

developers should say it right out loud if an app must be purchased for different devices. Why do they hold information. They are wasting customers time. We don’t have to find out something that’s already there. If they charge for different devices say so guys. Stop playing games.
