Computer crashes with drum kit designer

Hello! Every time I try to start drum kit designer my system freezes up and the computer restarts itself. Can’t figure out why. Anyone else had this issue? I have a MacBook Pro mid 2010 2,66 ghz i7 8 gb ram. Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.2

Is your Logic Pro X installation up to date?

You want version LPX 10.3.3 when using High Sierra.
